Cardio/Weight Room Policy for Youth (9 to 15 Years)

Evergreen Park & Recreation District’s cardio/weight areas are available for use by patrons 9 years and older. For safety reasons, youth 9 to 12 years must be accompanied by a paid adult (18 and older). Youth 13 to 15 years who would like to use the weight/cardio area without adult supervision may schedule a weight room orientation or a private/semi private session with a personal trainer.

Weight Room Orientations (13 Years & Up)

Certified trainers provide an introduction to the cardio and weight equipment, including proper form and technique for maximum safety and effectiveness. Sessions are 45 minutes in length, and may be scheduled with a minimum of 2 or a maximum of 4 people per orientation. Contact the front desk for more information at 720-880-1200 (WRC) or 720-880-1100 (BPRC). Weight room orientations are also offered once a month with our personal trainers at BPRC. Fee per person is $10 for District Residents and $13 for Non-District Residents.
