Alderfer/Three Sisters Park West Trailhead Improvements | Starting Spring 2025 with estimated completion in mid 2026

The West Trailhead at Alderfer/Three Sisters Park will be closed starting mid-2025 for trailhead improvements, including expanding the existing parking lot, replacing the existing restroom and kiosk, and installing improved signage.

Elk Meadow Park Forest Health Work | Starting July 8, 2024 with estimated completion in December 2024

Forest health management has been completed. However, the closure will remain in place until fall 2025 while trailhead improvements continue in the closure area. Lewis Ridge Trailhead remains open. 

Elk Meadow Park Stagecoach Trailhead Improvements | Starting July 2024, estimate completion Fall 2025

The Elk Meadow Park Stagecoach trailhead will be closed starting summer 2024 for trailhead improvements, including reconstructing the parking lot and access road, replacing existing restrooms, installing shade shelters and picnic areas, and installing safe at-grade road crossing on Stagecoach Blvd. 

JC-73 Roadway Improvements

Replacement of the bridge at the intersection of Little Cub Creek Rd. and JC-73, as well as shoulder widening and pedestrian crossing along JC-73
