2024/2025 Ice Skating Season Pass
Purchase a Season Pass for 2024/2025 ice skating season. Skate admission and rentals included! Due to the nature of the ice, EPRD can not guarantee opening days/times or ice quality. There will be NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, OR CREDITS.

2024/2025 Ice Skating Punch Pass
Purchase 10 ice skating admission punches for the price of 8! Punches can be used for all members of the family; kids ages 3 years and younger are FREE! Skate rentals are not included, but are available for an additional fee onsite. Punches are only valid for the 2024/2025 ice skating season. Due to the nature of the ice, EPRD can not guarantee opening days/times or ice quality. There will be NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, OR CREDITS for unused punches. PASSES MAY ONLY BE PURCHASED ONLINE.

Skate Sharpening
Hand sharpening is offered during scheduled skate times for $10 per pair at Evergreen Lake.
Skate Rental
Skate sizes for rent range from strap-on skates to men's size 16. Expect lines for skate rental. The rental fee is $10 per pair.
Group Broomball Rental
Rink, sticks, and balls are included for $175 per hour (Individual skating admission included for up to 15 people).
Ice Rink Rental
A portion of the lake skating area may be sectioned off for the use of private parties, hockey games, broomball, or other skating activities.
Please visit the following skating reservation link to reserve an individual rink at Evergreen Lake or Buchanan Ponds. We cannot guarantee a specific rink. Reservations rotate based on ice conditions.
- The rental fee is $150 per hour at Evergreen Lake (Individual skating admission included for up to 15 people).

New this year, Evergreen Lake House Private Party Deck has all you need for the perfect winter party. This private deck is equipped with seating for 25 people, 3 fire pits. Admission and rentals for up to 25 people included. Available to rent in 3 hour time blocks Saturday and Sunday. Please call for weekday availability. All reservations are ice and weather dependent. EPRD reserves the right to cancel all reservations due to weather or ice conditions at any point

Parking at Evergreen Lake House is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. There will be shuttles available on the weekends and holidays at Stagecoach Park lower parking lot (by turf field).
- Do I need a reservation to skate?
- No! We do not take reservations for open skate. All admissions and rentals are first come, first served
- What is your pricing?
- Admission is $15/person all day. Rentals & admission is $20/person all day. Rinks can be rented for $150/rink/hour.
- What are your hours of availably?
- Hours change based off weather and ice conditions. Updated hours can be found on the hotline by calling 720.880.1391.
- Can I wear my shoes on the ice?
- Only skates are allowed on the maintain rinks. No shoes, cross country skis, snowshoes or sleds allowed.
- What is the parking situation?
- Parking is open for all park goers and ice skaters. The parking lot fills quickly on the weekends and holidays, so free shuttles are available from Stagecoach (3229 El Pinal Dr, Evergreen CO) for everyone! EPRD will close the lot and direct people to the shuttle once it is full for everyone’s safety.
- Can I bring my dog?
- Dogs are not permitted on the maintained rinks or in the warming hut.
- Are skate helpers for rent?
- Skate helpers are free to use for all paying customers. They are available at a first come, first served basis.
- I want to play hockey. Can I play anywhere? Do I have to bring all my equipment?
- We ask everyone stays on rinks 1-5 to play hockey for safety reasons. Hockey sticks are available to rent, and pucks are available to purchase. Goals are free to use an are first come, first served.
- Can I call to reserve a rink?
- All rink reservations must be made online. This can be done by following this link: skating reservation link. No reservations can be made over the phone.
- Do you offer a season pass or a punch pass? Can I buy them onsite?
- We do! All passes can be purchased here: 2024/25 Ice Skating Passes We cannot sell them onsite or via phone.
- Do you offer in district pricing for Evergreen Residents?
- All pricing is the same no matter where you live. Dedise Park is a Denver Mountain Park property and not eligible for in-district pricing!
- How does ice fishing on Evergreen Lake work?
- EPRD does not manage the ice fishing on Evergreen Lake. Anyone who is ice fishing needs to have a valid Colorado Fishing License. Ice fishing equipment is available for rental here:
- How does renting skates work? Will you have my size?
- Rental skates are available at a first come, first served basis. Rental skates can only be worn in the maintained ice and on the matted areas of the path. Although it is unlikely, we may run out of popular skate sizes during peak hours (weekends and holidays).
- What amenities are available onsite?
- Muddy Buck is onsite selling refreshments on the weekends! Porta potties are located near the warming hut and red shack. Cubbies are in the warming hut (use is at your own risk).
