The vision of the EPRD Green Team is to increase sustainability and improve environmental impacts of EPRD activities, events, and facilities.  

• Hire new trash hauler with recycling
• Purchase new EPRD owned trash/recycling totes for events
• Host Evergreen Lake clean up events
• Buchanan Recreation Center xeriscaping
• Partner with CSU's Impact MBA program to host a Sustainability Intern whose focus will be to support Green Team initiatives
• Reach Silver Status with the Colorado Green Business Network
• Develop ECO Hubs for EPRD Summer Concerts to allow for composting

EPRD is now recognized as a Certified Green Business

We are thrilled to announce that Evergreen Park & Recreation District has been awarded Bronze Level certification status by the Colorado Green Business Network of the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment!

This recognition highlights our commitment to sustainability and our efforts to contribute to a greener future in Evergreen and the state of Colorado.
