Beginner Fencing (18+ Years)

• This is a split class in conjunction with Youth Fencing
• Discover the Olympic sport of Fencing
• Introduction to history of fencing, weapons, target areas and fencing technique
• Teaches competition, respect and self-discipline
• Equipment provided
• Location: Buchanan Park Recreation Center

Progressive Fencing (18+ Years)

• This is a split class in conjunction with Youth Fencing
• Continuation courses (progressive) focus on learning new fencing skills, such as:
  • Advanced footwork
  • Bouts with electric equipment
  • Fencing strategy
  • Rules and regulations
  • Other offensive and defensive fencing techniques
• These classes prepare fencers for local tournaments
• Location: Buchanan Park Recreation Center
