Outdoor Climbing Camps

Increase your young climbers problem-solving skills, sharpen their mental focus, overcome challenges and increase their confidence - all while experiencing outdoor rock climbing in Colorado's Front Range!
In this camp, your young climber will learn the techniques needed to climb outdoors as well as how to be a safe and responsible member of the outdoor climbing community with our guide, Ryan Dresser. Ryan has an immense amount of experience in guiding outdoors. As a co-owner of Evergreen Wilderness Guides, along with his technical experience, Ryan brings with him a NOLS Wilderness First Responder Certification, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Certification and an AIARE II Certification. Ryan has also completed the AMGA Rock Guide Course, and the AMGA Alpine Guide Course.
Our camp runs from 9am - 4pm and picks-up and drops-off at Buchanan Rec Center. Please bring a sack lunch (no refrigerated or heated lunches please), and enough water to get through the day. Please wear sturdy shoes (no open toed shoes, sandals, or crocs please), and dress appropriately for the weather. Please bring a jacket along as the weather can change rapidly at elevation.
