Lake House Camp
Lake House Camp 2024 (8 to 12 Years)
Evergreen Park & Recreation District presents Lake House Camp for 2024! This action-packed camp will keep kids outside, learning and having fun! Our camp counselor's will lead kids through a variety of activities that foster teamwork, strengthen outdoor skills and focus on enjoying and preserving our local environment. Participants will paddleboard, kayak, canoe, go fishing, study rivers, build rafts and so much more!
- Space is limited to 20 students per weekly session
- Full day camp 9 AM - 4 PM (3 days per week - Mon / Wed / Fri)
Sample program for each week:
- Day 1: River Studies (AM) - Kayaking (PM)
- Day 2: Fishing Clinic (AM) - SUP (PM)
- Day 3: Raft Building (AM) - Canoeing (PM)
Each participant should pack a lunch that does not need refrigeration or heating, 2-3 snacks, a reusable water bottle (please, no plastic water bottles), sunscreen and a swimsuit and towel. Incase of inclement weather, participants will be taken to Buchanan Rec Center for swimming.
Drop off and pick up will be at Evergreen Lake House, unless communicated otherwise.
Participants may register for one weekly 3-day session or more.

Weekly 3-Day Registration Fee:
- $500 (EPRD's DR and NDR fees are not applicable at the Evergreen Lake location)

There are no refunds, credits, or transfers. A late fee of $10 per 15 minutes will apply to any pick up after 4pm.
What to Bring Each Day:
Each camper should bring a lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating, 2-3 healthy snacks, a reusable water bottle (please, no single use plastic water bottles), a hat, sunscreen and a swimsuit and towel.
