Adult Tai Chi Chuan

Tai Chi Chuan is a martial art system that operates on the practical application of the philosophical Daoist concept of Tai Chi, which is an integral component of many Chinese disciplines including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Geomancy (Feng Shui), Divination (I Ching) and Chinese Astrology.

The instructor for the Chen Man Ching form Tai Chi classes is Shannon Farrell. Shannon has studied and practiced multiple styles of martial arts but focuses now on the slow moving and meditative art of Tai Chi.

T'ai Chi Chih (TCC) is easy to learn, and doesn’t require a particular level of physical fitness or coordination. Consisting of 19 movements and one pose, TCC attracts the widest possible audience because even those with physical limitations can participate, performing the movements while seated (with some modification)… paraplegics can practice right from their wheelchairs and advanced students have reported feeling the same benefits by simply visualizing the movements in their heads!
