Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) invites the community to its 7th annual EHS-Special Olympics Basketball Showcase on Saturday February 1 from 10 AM to Noon at Evergreen High School, which gives Special Olympian participants an opportunity to learn new skills and enjoy a unified basketball game with more advanced athletes from the EHS Boys and Girls Basketball teams.
In a short ceremony just before the game, EPRD will pay special tribute to local heroes who have supported the INSPIRE program through fundraisers, sponsorships, volunteerism, and donations.
