[ARCHIVED] Staff Spotlight: 25 Years & Counting at EPRD: Maren Schreiber!

Staff

It is with great pleasure and honor to celebrate Maren Schreiber, who has worked for Evergreen Park & Recreation District for 25 years! Maren has built the INSPIRE (Special Needs) Program from the ground up! At INSPIRE, there are opportunities to fit the interests, schedules, and needs of the community. The program offers everything from Therapeutic Horseback Riding to Bowling Club to Swim Lessons to Dinner at the Melting Pot, and even more!

“With Maren as its leader, the INSPIRE group is always on the move,” says colleague Klaire Funderburg. Maren also works with the community to fundraise throughout the calendar year. Some events that Maren is involved in are the Ice Melt Contest, Kid Triathlon, and Polar Plunge. Aside from programming, her colleagues say “Maren is one of the most empathetic, dedicated, and thoughtful people to work with.” Maren is a beacon of positivity, and the District celebrates all she has accomplished and all she continues to work towards!
