Ice Rinks are closed for the 2023/24 Season - Check Back Soon!

Evergreen Park & Recreation District operates public Ice Skating, Hockey, Broomball, Skating Classes and Evergreen Lake House events during the Winter season. 

The Lake House will be open to the community Monday through Thursday 4-7pm in January and February subject to the Lake House private event calendar. Absolutely no ice skates are allowed inside the Lake House or on the Lake House deck area.

Ice Rinks are subject to close due to weather conditions. The Boating/Skating Hotline (720-880-1391) will always provide current hours of operation at Evergreen Lake's Rinks.

Public Ice Skating at Evergreen Lake - Currently Closed for the Season

Opening Day for the 2023/24 Season will be announced soon!

  • Please check back often for schedule updates, or call the Lake House's Boating/Skating Hotline at 720-880-1391.
  • Hours are normally Monday to Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM, and Saturday to Sunday from 9 AM to 7 PM.

2023/24 Ice Skating Season Pass


Purchase a Season Pass for 2023/2024 ice skating season. Skate admission and rentals included! Due to the nature of the ice, EPRD can not guarantee opening days/times or ice quality. There will be NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, OR CREDITS.

2023/24 Ice Skating Punch Pass


Purchase 10 ice skating admission punches for the price of 8! Punches can be used for all members of the family; kids ages 3 years and younger are FREE! Skate rentals are not included, but are available for an additional fee onsite. Punches are only valid for the 2023/2024 ice skating season. Due to the nature of the ice, EPRD can not guarantee opening days/times or ice quality. There will be NO REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, OR CREDITS for unused punches. PASSES MAY ONLY BE PURCHASED ONLINE.

Learn to Skate Classes

Register online, at Evergreen Lake House, or at either Recreation Center. Always call the Skating Hotline in advance to check conditions. Do not drop off children for classes without being sure the rink is open. Please note: During class, Evergreen Lake will be closed to the public for ice skating. 

Please arrive early to rent skates (included with class) and check in at the ticket window to receive a lesson ticket. Helmets are required.

LEARN TO SKATE - Novice (3 to 5 Years)

Learn how to stand, walk, and fall down properly on skates. The class progresses to learning how to glide and stop over the course of four weeks.
