Fencing Classes 

(Fencing Academy of Denver in Partnership with Evergreen Park & Recreation District)

Beginner Fencing (8 to 18 Years)

• Discover the Olympic sport of Fencing
• Introduction to history of fencing, weapons, target areas and fencing technique
• Teaches competition, respect and self-discipline
• Equipment provided
• This is a split instruction in tandem with Adult Fencing
• Location: Buchanan Park Recreation Center

Register Online for Beginner Fencing (8 to 18 Years)

Progressive Fencing (8 to 18 Years)

• Continuation courses (progressive) focus on learning new fencing skills, such as:
  • Advanced footwork
  • Bouts with electric equipment
  • Fencing strategy
  • Rules and regulations
  • Other offensive and defensive fencing techniques
• These classes prepare fencers for local tournaments
• This is a split instruction in tandem with Adult Fencing
• Location: Buchanan Park Recreation Center
