Weight Lifting Partners of 40 Years: Olivia & David Brandt!
In 2019, Oliva and David Brandt moved to Evergreen to be closer to family and shortly became members at Buchanan Park Recreation Center. David is a retired Air Force pilot, who ran a squadron of approximately 17 jets for distinguished guests (Presidents, Generals, etc). Olivia was a real estate agent, who spent many years giving back to the community and volunteering for organizations like the Red Cross. Olivia and David have been lifting partners for 40 years! They have lifted all over the country and find that the weight equipment and facilities at BPRC are some of the best around! The two feel that BPRC is easy to navigate, offers weight training and has the friendliest staff and customers

An EPRD Love Story: Greg + Ann!
It was a warm summer afternoon at EPRD’s Community Garden, when two employees said “I do.” Ann and Greg met by working together during EPRD summer camp programs, and quickly fell in love. The happy couple had an intimate ceremony in the garden, and then danced the day away with close friends and family! The happy couple is still living in Evergreen and working for EPRD! Greg is our Athletic’s Specialist, and Ann oversees our Preschool Camps. It’s pretty special to be in the presence of two people who truly adore one another.
There is no better place to say “I do” than in Evergreen! Learn more about Wedding Rentals with EPRD today!
Rec Center Spotlight:
Wulf Recreation Center has a new flower garden!
EPRD’s self motivated and talented employee, Bob Kellogg, took it upon himself to plant a wildflower garden on the pathway leading to Wulf Recreation Center’s Skate Park and Playground area. The color of the flowers are vibrant enough to see from the parking lot, so it’s safe to say that the beds are thriving. All the summer sunshine and rainfall has certainly helped them flourish! Bob’s efforts show how a small enhancement can make a huge impact at park and recreation centers!
